 The Foundation would like to thank Dr. Matt Ames for his contributions as Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the 2008 Ralph Wilson Medical Research Foundation Grant Cycle. The Chair rotates each year and his / her role is to determine the review assignments for the selection process, lead the Foundation’s Annual Conference Call and provide general guidance to the Foundation as needed. |

 Dr. Maria Siemionow of the Cleveland Clinic was recently in the national news for performing the first US face transplant. A portion of the initial work for this procedure was funded by the Foundation. |
